In honor of Cultural Connection Night at the Log Cabin, the staff and teens of the WCTP share some of their favorite WC and Log Cabin Community art projects and landmarks.
WC Fieldhouse

In 1939 the White Center Park was established, across the street from McLendons. It was one of six original developments in the King County Park system. The White Center Fieldhouse & Caretaker Cottage were built between 1938-1940 by the WPA on 12 acres donated by the Mountain View Community Club and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The buildings are Rustic/National Park in style; including a half-log clad fieldhouse (1940); a caretaker’s residence (1940); Garage (1941); low rock walls and sections of river-rock gutter.
