About the WCTP

Mission

The program operates 5 days a week, 48 weeks a year and provides structured recreational classes and programs, homework assistance, educational and computer resources, leadership training, volunteer opportunities, special events, field trips, and drop-in activities. The program also provides youth with proactive conflict resolution strategies, health and wellness resources and referrals, and life skills and employment training.  Programs are designed to strengthen developmental assets, a key prevention tool in helping youth develop strong personal coping skills and relationships.
