Enormous thanks to everyone that made it out to Spooky Town at Steve Cox Memorial Park on Saturday, October 26th from 2-5pm!
White Center Teen Program staff and volunteers had a blast bringing the 2024 Outdoor Halloween Carnival back to the community. Families played carnival games, made arts and crafts, took the βSpooky Town Underground Tourβ in the basement of the Historic WC Fieldhouse, enjoyed concessions (Courtesy of Dub Sea Fish Sticks), picked up pumpkins (Courtesy of HH and the KCP Greenhouse) challenged themselves to the Fall SCMP Scavenger Hunt, and snapped photos at several step and repeat displays.
In addition, all of the fall programs and events leading up to the Carnival were a smashing (pumpkin) success! Favorite activities included:
- Costume Kickball
- Paint with Paz
- Glow in the Dark Volleyball
- Batty Bingo
- Halloween Jeopardy with your host, Ridwan
- Pumpkin Carving
- Spooky Saturday Sack Lunch
- Fieldtrip to the King County Greenhouse to harvest Pumpkins
- Spooky Town Slime Factory
- 20+ Volunteer events to build and paint Spooky Town!
