Some Log Cabin Bearded Dragon has been catching up on her correspondence (Thank you Vincent for helping her with the stamps.) She’s been sharing several of your great ideas with the Parks Management Team, and we’re thrilled to report that a few of the recent suggestions are already moving forward to the planning stage!

Thank you so much for the really fun idea. I liked it so much I asked Vincent to ask Vana to ask our Big Boss to ask our Big Big Boss . . . and everyone LOVED your suggestion. More details to follow, but there’s an 87.6% chance that we’ll be able to host one of the amazing King County Parks Outdoor Movies at Steve Cox Memorial Park this August !!! If we’re able to pull it off, the most challenging part will be to choose the movie. I told them that CARS needs to be on the list of possible films. Full disclosure, Vana is also rooting for Moana 2. We’ll be sure to let you know when it’s time to vote. heart emoji – Sunny P

Ding, ding, ding! Great eye. I was very lucky to have WC’s own legendary, PAZ paint my portrait. I loves it very much. (Sometimes Vincent finds me staring at it when I don’t know anyone is still in the building.) Would you be interested in coming to the Park to paint with PAZ? 1. Write a short message to Sunny P. You can include your thoughts on what you’d like to see at Steve Cox Memorial Park. You can also ask her questions about the Park history, the wildlife in the park, the crew that takes care of the park, her favorite things to eat, and pro tips on how to catch Vana cheating at cards.
2. If you include your return address (name, street address, City State and Zip code) – Sunny P will write you back.
3. Don’t forget the stamp! And if you need a stamp, you can pick one up from the Cabin.
