Celebrating Spring 2025 at the Log Cabin: Structures and Special Events

No cap, Spring was busy at the Log Cabin. 

The White Center Teen Program continued to see a rise in attendance, with an average of 80-100 youth attending daily, ranging in age from 12 to 19. The Multi purpose Field, Gym, and Games Room were all packed and some days activities were also running in the Kitchen, Computer Lab, Learning Garden and Outdoor Basketball Courts.

This spring, we offered a variety of programs, including jeopardy, burnt toast, crochet, flag football, girls basketball, volleyball, and outdoor soccer. Programs are open to ages 12-19, so bring your friends and enjoy some recreational fun at the Log Cabin.

In addition to structured programs, we’ve been fortunate to table at several community events, run Teen Program Field Trips and host special programs :

• Highline College FT Tour on April 8th
• Cultural Connection Night and Talent Show on April 18th
• Glendale Forest Open House on April 26th
• Alajawan’s Community Family Reunion on April 29th
• White Center 5k on May 3rd
• WCTP Spring Clean on May 16th
• Repair Event at the Log Cabin on May 17th
• Evergreen Spring Fling on May 30th
• Skyway eRsource Center grand Opening on May 31st
• Annual PNTH Job Fair & Basketball Tournament on June 4th
• WC Heights Community Carnival on June 13th
• Skyway Juneteenth Celebration on June 14th
