CCN is an annual Visual and Performing Cultural Event offered in the Spring. CCN evolved from Log Cabin’s Got Talent – an annual event that featured performing acts coupled with a visual art show. Peace in the Hood Job Fair

The PNTH Job Fair provides employment and mentorship opportunities to youth ages 16 to 24. Presented in partnership by the YWCA, Worksource, Southwest Youth and Family Services, and Communities of Opportunity, more than 30 employers and 10 resource providers are expected to attend. Resume and employment application assistance will be provided in advance and day of at the WCTP Log Cabin.
Family Night Out
Tuesday, August 4th 2026
The 2026 Night Out is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4th from 5-7pm. Families are invited to join in for action packed crafts, carnival games, family friendly fun, and a FOAM party with the KCLS White Center Librarians!
Halloween Carnival
Saturday, October 24th 2026
On the last Saturday before Halloween in October, the WCTP welcomes families to Steve Cox Memorial Park for our annual FREE Halloween Carnival. WCTP volunteers gather in person and remotely during October to create the carnival games, giveaways, and park-wide decorations.
