On the last Saturday in October, the WCTP welcomes families to Steve Cox Memorial Park for our annual FREE Halloween Carnival. WCTP volunteers gather in person and remotely during October to create the carnival games, giveaways, and park-wide decorations.

Peace in the Hood Job Fair
Wednesday, June 4th 2025
The PNTH Job Fair provides employment and mentorship opportunities to youth ages 16 to 24. Presented in partnership by the YWCA, Worksource, Southwest Youth and Family Services, and Communities of Opportunity, more than 30 employers and 10 resource providers are expected to attend. Resume and employment application assistance will be provided in advance and day of at the WCTP Log Cabin.
Family Night Out

The 2025 Night Out is scheduled for Tuesday, August 5th from 5-7pm and features a Superheroes vs Villains Theme! Families are invited to join in for action packed crafts, carnival games, family friendly fun, and a FOAM party with the KCLS White Center Librarians!
