SUMMER 2026 – Outdoor Movie at SCMP

Enthusiastic Teens are sought to support families with Arts and Crafts at an outdoor movie in the Park in August.

FALL 2026 – Return to Spooky Town

This Fall, the Log Cabin is hosting ongoing teen volunteer opportunities to help bring Spooky Town back to Steve Cox Memorial Park on Saturday, October 24th!

Participating teens can volunteer in advance of the carnival and/or help out day of on the 24th. Grab and Go remote options are also available. (Teens can pick up project supplies from the cabin and return completed projects in advance of the carnival.)

Carnival prep projects are scheduled Tuesday – Thursday between 4-7pm. Available projects to include:

  • Painting upcycled pumpkin cut outs. (In person)
  • Designing carnival games. (In person)
  • Painting the set of Spooky Town. (In person)
  • Packing grab and go arts and crafts projects. (In person)
  • Creating Spooky Town slime. (In person)
  • Decorating Spooky Town slime labels. (In person and Remote)
  • Designing Spooky Town Color sheets (In person and Remote)
  • Painting pumpkins and carving Jack-o-lanterns. (In person and Remote)

Day of Carnival Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Leading carnival games
  • Helping with arts and crafts
  • Joining the cast of the Spooky Town underground tour

WINTER 2026 – Arts Center Mural Project

Help bring a new mural featuring native flora and fauna to life at the Log Cabin! Artists of all skill levels encouraged to volunteer!
